Journalism from the field

I’m always looking for interesting stories from the farm, from the field, from the other side. This because I’m curious about the other side. I dig deeper to give insight, to let my readers step outside their own square.

I ride my motorbike from one farm to one other and observe, because I want my stories to make a difference in the reader’s world. Broaden the reader’s square by linking it with others, with other opinions, with other point of views. Even beyond borders.

Call it against the grain or compliant. Both suit me well. Both are my brand Meedraads: wilful, energetic, venturous, concerned and devoted. Curious about stories behind that green-yellow tractor or behind those black and white cows.

The wheat from the chaff, writing about that what counts.
